Rules & Regulations

The Oahu Club is owned and operated by Life Port Hawaii Co, LTD, for the purpose of providing a sports and recreational facility for its members, their guests, and clients of Life Port Hawaii Co., LTD. The Oahu Club.

The Oahu Club reserves the right to modify or amend these Rules and Regulations at any time. Membership cards are required when on The Oahu Club premises. Initiation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Life Port Hawaii Co., LTD dba The Oahu Club and/or Bernice P. Bishop Estates will not assume liability for any personal loss or injury incurred on the premises.

The Oahu Club Hours are:
Monday - Friday
6:00am - 9:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Designated State/Federal Holidays 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day closed

The Club also reserves the right to
a] Close the facilities on selected holidays
b] Rent portions of the premises for such activities as filming, sports tournaments, private parties and social events.

General Regulations

All persons must register at the Pro-Shop sign in desk prior to using the Club's facilities. Regular use of the facilities shall be by Club members only. Pictures are taken of members on their first visit. Smoking is not allowed on the Oahu Club property. No pets are allowed on the Oahu Club property.

Non-members enrolled in classes or lessons, or those renting the premise for special events may be at the club only during the specific hour reserved for their activity.

All dues and fees must be paid before use of the facilities is permitted. Members with Club accounts 30 or more days past due will have their membership priviledges suspended. An inactive fee may be paid to freeze your membership up to 6 months. The inactive fee is equivalent to two months dues. Thirty day notification prior to your monthly payment date is required for inactive status or cancellation. All memberships will be assessed a $25 processing fee for upgrades and adding/changing names. A family membership is limited to 6 persons residing in the same household. Children 3 years and older are considered a family member. Minimum age for a single membership is 19 years old. Couple/family memberships must have one member over 21 years of age.

All persons using the facility shall at all times conduct themselves in a manner appropriate for a private club. The Club shall have the right to request anyone engaging in misconduct to leave the premises. The Club shall also have the right to suspend or expel any member (or terminate any memberships for conduct deemed to be contradictory to the welfare, interest, or character of the Club).

The Club will not be responsible for the loss of money or other property from lockers, cars, or any part of the premises. Per "STATE OF HAWAII LAW" children under the age of 14 are restricted from using the Olympic pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna, and Fitness Room without the supervision of a parent or authorized guardian.

Members are welcome to bring guests to the Club at any time. A guest fee must be paid at the Pro-Shop at sign in desk prior to using the Club's facilities. A Guest is allowed 12 visits per year.
